OCF (Open Connectivity Foundation) have an ambitious mission to transform the way technology communicates. Their platform, built over several years with input from industry leaders at globally recognised tech firms such as Samsung, offers an opportunity for more synchronicity between your tech devices than ever before. Using OCF’s platform, there’s potential for all-sorts devices to speak to each other, removing the restrictions currently in place and the lock hold large tech organisations have on the market.
After years of heads-down hard work, OCF were looking to reposition their organisation with a brand strategic positioning report, design brief and new brand to properly represent the platform they’d created. We came into the organisation and consulted with everyone involved in the product - from developers to board members - and there were opportunities for anyone interested to participate in surveys, workshops and one-to-one consultations.
The result was a comprehensive brand positioning report, outlining the organisation’s challenges, strengths, brand values and clear vision and mission statement for OCF. This document went on to inform the visual language of the brand.
